What Gordon needs for Christmas

On Marr, David Cameron rightly said that the question on funding is “Who Knew?” This is also the title of a song last year by Pink which has been irritatingly replaying in my head since this all erupted. For my News of the World column (not online), I put this down as one of the tracks you could put on a Christmas CD to cheer up Gordon Brown. Here are the rest. Two CDs, of course, would really make his day. So can CoffeeHousers think of any extra tracks?

1)     Who Knew? (Pink) 2)     How Long Has This Been Going On? (Ace) 3)     Watching the Detectives (Elvis Costello) 4)     I wouldn’t normally do this kind of thing (Pet Shop Boys) 5)     Nothing has been proved (Dusty Springfield) 6)     Panic (The Smiths) 7)     Smile Though Your Heart Is Aching (Nat King Cole) 8)     Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away (Beatles) 9)     Didn’t We Almost Have It All (Whitney Houston) 10) Always Look on the Bright Side of Life (Monty Python)
