If this is accurate, then it is great news for the Tories. At the moment, the Tories have the stronger front bench but there is a decent amount of talent on the Labour back benches which could even things up. It also means that Labour’s most effective communicator—Alan Johnson—won’t be moved into more of a frontline role.“Last night, however, Mr Brown insisted all his Cabinet would stay in their jobs till the next General Election. He would change only junior ministers.”
