Last night, Liberal Democrats gathered for their traditional conference glee club. It is
a light-hearted occasion with lots of communal singing and jokes. But some of the gags did seem to vocalise a certain unease about the coalition.
There was a very lusty rendition of a song that went like this, to the tune of The Twelve Days of Christmas:
The song continues in this vein until we reach the twelfth day.
